Qcad is computer-aided design (CAD) system for the Linux, OS X, and Windows platforms. There is a "community edition" (under the GPL) that lags slightly behind the professional version from RibbonSoft, but which is otherwise quite robust and feature rich. If you're installing it from a Linux distribution, be sure to search for all packages containing the keyword "qcad." Most distros have a separate "parts" package that contains standard graphical elements.
